Harbin Engineering University was founded in 1953 in Harbin, China. It offers more than 150 degree programs, 48 of which are conducted in English. Designated a Project 211 university, HEU is billed as a top institution for engineering and marine projects. It is also a Chinese Ministry of Education Double First-Class Discipline University, with double first-class status in certain disciplines.

Harbin Engineering University (in short HEU, formerly Harbin Military Engineering Institute), founded in 1953, is located in Harbin, ice city, near the beautiful Songhua River. HEU is one of the first key universities in the national "211 Project" (to set up 100 national key universities in the 21st Century) and the key construction on the Specific Disciplines Innovation Platform (belongs to 985 project) and the first batch of key constructed universities in China having graduate school and National University Science Park. HEU has major personnel training and scientific research in the field of shipbuilding engineering, ocean exploration, and nuclear energy application.
Campus
HEU is located in Nangang, in the heart of Harbin.
The university library occupies a six-story building on the eastern side of campus. Particular strengths of library collections focus on nuclear and marine science.
Wifi access at the library is charged at 0.30 RMB per hour. Faculty, students, and staff with a university ID card may register for wifi access at the second-floor information desk.

Applying Online is simple in just a few steps. More information

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application
fee and
upload
the application documents.
Once submitted to China Admissions, we will review your
application within
2-3
days and proceed to the university or ask
you for further clarification
After it has been processed to the university you will receive
your unique
application ID from each university.
The university may contact you directly for further questions.
We will then follow up each week with the university for updates.
As soon as
there is any update we will let you know.
If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change
address at any
time
please let us know.
After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions
letter
electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable
deposit to the university.
Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the
admissions
letter and visa form to your home country.
